2010 ISC Youth World Conference
Each day of the conference will include youth leadership training, simulations, participant presentations, and reflection. Cultural exploration will occur through various activities including immersion in the host country. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own culture. Students will periodically meet in age-level groups with ISC Youth College Assistants taking an active leadership role. Participants will visit local schools where they will have the opportunity to dialogue with Swedish students and school staff. Wednesday evening, an optional activity will be available to youth participants to encourage informal dialogue in order to strengthen connections and become immersed in different cultures. The final day of the conference will end with an evening celebration. Youth participants will return home with an appreciation for other cultures, differing opinions, and ways of life. By working together across cultures, they will sharpen the 21st century skills they need to be responsible global citizens. The conference will inspire young people to discover the possibilities and strengths that are born of working as part of a global community!
